The small dog shown above is Miss Barbie, a Lhasa Apso pound pup, that came into our lives March 19, 1996 when about 1 year old. She had been badly abused. Barbie lived with our founders and came to work every day with Loren. Most everyone was her friend. At age 12 she underwent surgery and chemo for lung cancer. At her last checkup she was still cancer free. Barbie passed from this life on November 7, 2009 due to old age. We loved her very much, she was a good and faithful companion. She left many good memories. On 12-31-2007 we welcomed a male Shih Tzu rescue pup named Mr. Bently into our home. |
